3、Product features

Impact resistance means the ability of curtain wall to withstand hail, wind, flying objects, birds and other outdoor impact and impact of indoor personnel, items. Impact resistance is a requirement for the bearing capacity of curtain wall materials under impact load. The impact force of a curtain wall depends on the weight, form, stiffness and impact velocity of the object.

The device consists of two tires, two weights, a connecting rod and a wire rope for hanging the impingement.

1）At the maximum landing height, the horizontal Angle between the suspension wire rope and the horizontal plane of the hanging point is >14°;

2）When the impact object and the suspension wire rope are in free state, the distance between the outside edge of the tire and the surface of the specimen is >5mm, and <15mm;

3）The geometric center of the impinging object is located within a circle with a radius of 50mm of the impact point.

The releasing device can accurately locate the lifting height of the impinging object and keep the center line of the impinging object and the center line of the suspension wire rope in the same direct line. The impinging object will fall freely after being released.
